Duo is set to tie the knot this weekend

Hamza Ali Abbasi and Naimal Khawar Khan are all set to tie the knot this weekend, in a small nikkah ceremony on Sunday. This will be followed by a valima reception the next day.

Rumours about the couples marriage were rife after the invitation cards of their events went viral on social media. Abbasi took to social media and confirmed that he will indeed be marrying Khawar this weekend.

Many fans and celebs congratulated the to-be married couple. While Abbasi's statement on the matter was much talked about for all the right and wrong reasons, an old video of Khawar talking about the former has now gone viral.

In an appearance on a local channel show, host Vasay Chaudhry asks the Verna actor to name actors she would ignore, friendzone or marry. She is given options of Mikaal Zulfiqar, Abbasi and Ahad Raza Mir. And much to everyone's surprise, she names Abbasi in the friendzone category!

Speaking about the actor she'd marry, Khawar names the Aangan star Mir and said she would ignore Zulfiqar. The starlet goes on to add  that she has met Abbasi once before, when he visited on one of her project's set.

"He seems like a guy who has a kind nature," she says.
