QUETTA: Special Assistant to the PM on Energy Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has said previous regimes “did not pay sincere attention” to Balochistan’s development, which increased a sense of deprivation among the masses. “PTI and PM Khan has been taking speedy measures to end poverty and deprivation from Balochistan,” he said during a meeting with chief of tribes Malik Amanullah Kakar here on Tuesday. He criticised past rulers for using Balochistan’s name for winning vote, claiming they were busy in “looting public money”. However, the incumbent government has exposed all corrupt politicians who exploited province’s rights. “Past regimes are also responsible for the ongoing economic situation because corrupt politicians looted the national exchequer and laundered money,” Rind said.
