
Pakistan’s top golfers will take part in the 13th edition of Sindh Open Golf Championship, which tees off tomorrow at the Arabian Sea Country Club.
The country’s top golfer Shabbir Iqbal will defend his professional title in the three-day competition, and is expected to receive tough competition from veteran Mohammad Munir. At a press conference held at Karachi Gymkhana, it was revealed that the organisers received a total of 140 entries for the championship that will see professional, senior professional and amateur events, and carries a total prize purse of Rs1.2million. The first person to make a hole-in-one will also be awarded Rs 100,000.
