FAISALABAD: Police have arrested 11 proclaimed offenders (POs) from Faisalabad district during the last 24 hours. Police officials said on Saturday that the police also seized eight pistols and one gun. The police also seized 3.255kg of hashish and 92 litres of liquor from the possession of drug traffickers during this period. Meanwhile, Saddar police have arrested 10 persons on charges of gambling on Saturday. Police officials said that a police team, on a tip-off, conducted raids and caught 10 persons red-handed gambling on play cards. The police also confiscated bet money worth Rs89,080, mobile phones and other items from them.
