QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal appointed Ejaz Sanjrani as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister with immediate effect.
Ejaz Sanjrani is younger brother of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani who recently survived a no-trust move by the combined opposition in the Senate.
The appointment of Ejaz Sanjarni was announced through an official notification which said that in exercise of the powers conferred by the rule 6 (3) of the Balochistan Government Rules of Business 2012, the Balochistan Chief Minister has been pleased to appoint Ejaz Sanjrani as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister with immediate effect and it will remain valid until further orders.
Ejaz Sanjrani had served on the same post during the Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) government when it was headed by Nawab Sanaullah Zehri in coalition with the federal government.
Besides, the CM had withdrawn portfolio of Information from Zahoor Buledi in the beginning of this month. However the minister continued working as the provincial Minister of Finance, another responsibility which he had.
More than one portfolio has been assigned to provincial ministers because Balochistan cabinet cannot exceed beyond 14 ministers and five advisors.
