Highway Shooting: Robbers escape after shooting man

FAISALABAD: Residents in Batala Colony held a robber who had shot a man in the leg on Monday evening. According to police officials, three robbers snatched a motorcycle and cash from Zulfiqar on the main road. When residents heard his cry for help they detained one robber, while two of the men escaped after shooting Zulfiqar. Rescue 1122 officials shifted the injured man to the Civil Hospital. Batala Colony Police said the robbers had opened fire to free their accomplices and police were searching for them.
