KARACHI: The Supreme Court annulled on Monday the decision of the service tribunal while hearing the petition moved by Sindh Police against the restoration of service of Kashmore Police constable who was dismissed on allegations of spying for criminal elements.  A two-member bench comprising Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah heard the Sindh Police’s plea at the Karachi registry. Police’s counsel maintained that constable Saeen Bux Chilmiani was dismissed for violating the code of ethics. The counsel said Chilmani worked for criminal elements. “How could a regular inquiry be conducted on allegations of spying? The service tribunal’s decision would have to be reviewed,” remarked Justice Shah.
