KARACHI: Major changes have been made in the oganisational structure of the Sindh police department, as a result of which the newly-introduced post of Additional Inspector General of Police has gained added importance. According to the notification issued by the Sindh police, operations DIG, rapid response force DIG, special protection unit DIG and reserve police DIG will directly report to the Additional IG. Previously, the four DIGs reported to Sindh IGP directly.
