NAB grills accused in sugar mills case

LAHORE: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore grilled Yousaf Abbass Sharif in Chaudhry Sugar Mills Case for at least two hours. Sharif appeared before a combined investigations team (CIT) at the Thokar Niaz Beg NAB complex on Tuesday. Sharif handed him over relevant documents and the team also asked him to provide further details.

NAB closes inquiry into Pakistan Steel Mills shutdown

NAB is going to re-summon him in the case for further inquiry. NAB was going to investigate at least 13 persons, including former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Assembly Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz and eight others.

Earlier, in a summons delivered to Yousaf, NAB had asked him to provide details of all shareholders and their shareholdings in M/s CSM since 1995, changes in shareholdings/sale/purchase of shares from 1995 till date.
