Breached: Villages under water

The villages suffered a great loss as the seeds sown over more than one hundred acres were washed away.

SUKKUR: Agricultural land and three villages came under water as a 20 feet wide breach occurred in Naseer Shakh on Saturday. The villages, Akhtiar Soomro, Waryal Soomro and Waheed Soomro, were situated near Thull and suffered a great loss as the seeds sown over more than one hundred acres were washed away. According to the villagers, Sahib Dino Soomro, Mukhtiar Doll and Bijar Doll, the irrigation officials have been informed.
