Flight operations resume 

Domestic and international flights divert due to a flock of birds



LAHORE: Flight operations returned back to normal at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Reportedly, domestic and international flights had to be diverted to other airports due to a flock of birds while flights departing from Lahore faced delay, early Thursday morning. As a result, passengers were inconvenienced. According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the runway had to be closed for two hours due to the presence of a flock of birds. Reportedly, bird shooters chased the winged fiends away by firing in the air. Flight operations resumed after the flock of birds had been dispersed.
