KARACHI:
Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information, Law and Anti-corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab appreciated the efforts of the anti-corruption department's team which, led by East deputy director of the department, detained an XEN of the Karachi Development Authority (KDA). The detained executive engineer was allegedly involved in 'selling' of KDA amenity plots using fake documents.
The adviser said that the Sindh government would not tolerate corruption at any level in any of its departments. He commended the anti-corruption department's team for its efforts. XEN Ghulam Muhammad was allegedly involved in china cutting of amenity plots in Gulistan-e-Johar and the selling of amenity plots of KDA Scheme 36. An FIR has been registered against him.
Wahab issued directives for a crackdown on all officers involved in china cutting of amenity plots.
