KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed profound grief over the loss of valuable lives in the train accident at Walhar Station near Sadiqabad. He expressed sympathy with the families of the victims who lost their lives and prayed for early recovery of the injured persons. Barrister Murtaza Wahab, adviser to the chief minister on information, law and anti-corruption, also expressed grief over the train accident in Rahimyar Khan and demanded the railway minister's resignation.

Wahab said that the Sindh government was facilitating the victims. He said that the Federal Railways Minister Shaikh Rasheed should focus on the management of railways instead of focusing on politics.

He said that instead of concentrating on the affairs of the railway ministry, Rasheed was trying his best to win the heart of Imran Khan. He said that conditions of the railways were unsatisfactory and the minister should concentrate on making improvements in his ministry.

The adviser said that it was beyond his comprehension as to why Rasheed should demand resignations from others given the ministry's performance. He asked when Rasheed would tender in his resignation given the frequent accidents of trains in the country.
