After keep mum for a couple of days, newly engaged couple Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain have finally responded - in their own way - to the criticism and trolls after the Lahore Se Aagay star proposed Aziz at the Lux Style Awards on Sunday.

The Suno Chanda actor with a picture of her engagement ring, shared, "Meri yeh khushi itni bari hai k mujhe sirf achi baatein aur duaein sunayi derahi hain. (My happiness is so massive that I can only hear good wishes and prayers) Love is to express, not to impress."

She further added, "My man expressed his love in front of the world which takes a lot of guts and i am blissful, you’r my ZING. Thankyou for being so expressive, generous, caring, loving, chivalrous, realistic and noble. I love you."

Addressing the hate, Aziz went on, "To whom it may concern: Agr larki proposal k waqt roti nahi balky ek khushi k lamhe ko hans kar enjoy karti hai tou yeh nahi kehte k planned tha. Rung main bhung na daalein aur apni khushi ka intezaar karein. (If a girl doesn't break down while being proposed to and says yes ecstaticly, that doesn't mean it was all planned. Please don't try to bring anyone down. Your time will come) Thank you."

Hussain, on the other hand shared a meme on his Instagram handle  which read, "You can piss in public in Pakistan but can't kiss in public."
