Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan are all set to collaborate for a remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini's 1982 super hit Satte Pe Satta, reported Times of India.
As per the latest buzz surrounding the film, Hrithik Roshan will be stepping into Big B's shoes for it while Bollywood beauty queen Deepika Padukone will play the female lead opposite him.
It is being reported that both Farah and Rohit wanted Deepika for the role not just because she is a perfect fit for it but also has an uncanny resemblance to Hema. The Chennai Express starlet apparently gave Satte Pe Satta a nod as soon as Farah narrated the story to her.

The remake will mark the first time that Hrithik and Deepika share screen space for the first time. Meanwhile, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak and Kabir Khan's 83. On the other hand, Hrithik is all set for the release of his upcoming film Super 30.
