The politician commended the pilot’s skill and his calm state of mind as he avoided the crash. However, it was discovered that the video was not of a real-life situation, but rather a part of the gameplay from the highly popular video game Grand Theft Auto.
“Narrow escape of an aircraft which could have ended in a great disaster. Miraculous save by the pilot’s presence of mind,” Gandapur said in his tweet and was received with criticism by the Twitterati for not being aware that it was a video game simulation.

The video posted in the tweet is available on YouTube and if you view it, you will most likely be able to tell that it’s simulated.
On the other hand, there have been viewers on YouTube who were not able to distinguish between reality and simulation when they watched the video, so this instance can either serve as an example of the heights that modern computer graphics have reached or of the increasing amount of people nowadays who don’t try to identify fact from fake news.
