SARGODHA: Provincial Minister for Human Resources and Development Ansar Majeed Niazi stated that the incumbent government launched the Punjab Ehsaas Programme to provide economic and social security to the deprived segments of society. Speaking to various delegations on Tuesday, the minister maintained that developing human resources was the main crux of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government’s policies. He added that Rs17 million was allocated for this programme in the budget.

He said the government was taking solid steps to strengthen the economy while simultaneously combating the crises left behind by the previous government. National institutions sustained great damage due to the bad economic policies of the previous government, he said. He stated that every citizen in the country desired that the ‘looted’ money be recovered from corrupt segments.
