20 couples tie the knot in Landi Kotal

Organization of wedding helps the poor and underprivileged sections of society

KHYBER: The SWO on Monday organised a mass wedding of some 20 couples in Landi Kotal. Local political leaders and public participated in the ceremony. SWO President Haji Aslam Shinwari said that their organization had always helped the poor and underprivileged sections of society and announced that such events will continue in the future as well. He further said that it usually costs millions of rupees to organize a wedding and proves to be a barrier for most youngsters to marry, hence they organised a mass wedding.
