Reconstruction: Bridge restored in Upper Dir

The bridge was damaged during the floods last year due to which the residents were facing trouble with transportation.

PESHAWAR: The district administration of Upper Dir has re-opened the Kas Chappar Bridge in Wari under the Malakand Development Programme (MDP). The bridge was damaged during the floods last year due to which the residents were facing trouble with transportation. The administration has re-opened the bridge after one year to restore the disconnected flow of traffic in the area. The construction of four bridges in Umralai Babu, Sadiqabad, Darora Jeket and Khan Pur Chandes are also in progress, Executive Magistrate Mian Ayanullah appreciated MDP for re-constructing the bridge and expressed his satisfaction over the work. The local people also thanked the government and MDP was its timely response in addressing the issue.
