THATTA: Sindh Agriculture General Workers Union staged a protest rally against price hike and imposition of new taxes on Saturday. Rally participants marched from Edhi Center to Thatta Press Club. Addressing the rally, Sindh Agricultural General Workers Union President Ali Ahmed Panhwar said that prices should be reduced and taxes withdrawn. He also demanded that the government work towards ending the ‘artificially created’ water crisis in Sindh. Rejecting the recent budget, protesters maintained that it would increase poverty and hunger.
