Police conducted search operations

The police and other law enforcing agencies (LEAs) carried out a search operation in different areas within the remits of Airport Police Station. The agencies went door-to-door and searched 120 houses and checked the identity papers of up to 3,414 people. During the operation, though no one was arrested, the LEAs conducted biometric verification of all the people investigated. The sources in the police said police, elite commandoes, ladies policemen and other LEAs took part in operation.
