I had auditioned for a role with Akshay Kumar: Maya Ali

The starlet is a Karan Johar film fan!

Actor Maya Ali was once offered to do a film with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, reported Express News. The Mann Mayal actor had reportedly gone to India for the audition that went very well. "Everything was decided but I could not proceed due to some  problems," she said.

But Ali is still hopeful and expressed her desire to work with Ranveer Singh if she ever gets such an opportunity. Ali  said she admires him for his enthusiasm towards work and that he has an alluring personality.

The starlet admitted she is very fond of Bollywood film. "I have watched almost every Karan Johar film so you can imagine what a Bollywood buff I am," Ali said.

The actor went on to say that she never planned to work in the entertainment industry but it was in her destiny and all of this was meant to happen.

Ali said she is "blessed" to work on her upcoming film Parey Hut Love with actor Sheheryar Munawar Siddiqui. Parey Hut Love will mark her second film: the actor was last seen in Teefa in Trouble.

"I am lucky to have gotten a chance to play different roles in both the films. Teefa in Trouble was an action comedy but Parey Hut Love is an emotional roller-coaster," shared Ali.
