WSSP to audit maintenance, repair work

This has been directed by the WSSP Chief Executive Officer Syed Zafar Ali during a high-level meeting of the service

PESHAWAR: The head of the chief water supply and sanitation service in the provincial capital has called for an audit of the maintenance and repair works in all four zones of the city. This was directed by the WSSP Chief Executive Officer Syed Zafar Ali during a high-level meeting of the service on Thursday. The audit will be conducted by a team of expert auditors under the supervision of WSSP Chief Internal Auditor Zahid Anwar who will then present a detailed audit report to the chief executive officer.  The WSSP chief executive officer also formed a Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Committee under the supervision of Engr Turab Shah to implement SOPs to control unnecessary consumption of electricity and fuel, monitoring of vehicles and repair and recommend ways to reduce consumption.
