‘Islamic values must be prioritised in education’

Quality education integrated with the teachings of Islam must be the top priority of educational institutions in the Muslim world.

This was stated by International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) President Dr Ahmed Yousif Al Draiweesh while addressing a briefing by the academic wing regarding the admission process and latest state of applications.

Dr Al Draiweesh was briefed about the number of applications received in all the programmes and that owing to the keen interests and requests of applicants, the last date of submitting admissions applications had been extended until Friday, June 28.

He further told that so far around 70,000 applicants have applied for different programmes.

Furthermore, he also instructed scheduling classes and launching an advertisement campaign for admissions to the fall semester.
