Minorities find place in 2019-20 budget

Provincial minister says minority communities have historically been ignored

SARGODHA: Provincial Minister for Human Resources and Development Ansar Majeed Niazi has said that the government has allocated Rs1 billion in the 2019-20 budget for the welfare and betterment of minority communities.

He stated this while addressing a cheque distribution ceremony among members of minority communities at Mazhar Hall on Saturday.

The provincial minister added that minority communities have historically been ignored but the incumbent government is paying special attention to minority groups in the budget.
