LAHORE: Five people allegedly tortured a man, stripped him naked and forced him to drink their urine over a dispute involving a snooker game in Mangwal-Zafarwal village.

According to the FIR, the incident occurred on June 8. However, the victim registered a case against the accused on Tuesday.

The police complaint said that 26-year-old Shamraiz exchanged colourful language with five people identified as Waris Ali alias Basa, Muhammad Ahmed, Muhammad Bilal, Ehsan and Muzaffar at a snooker club. The argument broke out over who would take the first turn.

The five accused physically assaulted Shamraiz and took him to a nearby haveli. They allegedly beat Shamraiz, stripped him naked and made videos of the incident. They also uploaded three of these clips on social media. The accused also forced him to drink their urine and sexually assaulted him.

The FIR stated that the accused also lured the victim’s father, Muhammad Rafique, to the scene and beat him up. Locals gathered outside the haveli after hearing screams and managed to free the victims while the accused fled the scene. Before fleeing, they threatened the victim to keep silent about the incident.

Due to the injuries he sustained, Shamraiz was hospitalised. However, his condition is now stable and his life is out of danger. Zafarwal police have registered a case against the five accused on the complaint filed by the victim. No arrests were made till the filing of this report.
