Youth were killed during 'cordon and search' operation in the Shopian district

Indian forces in another act of state-sanctioned brutality martyred two youth in the Shopian district of the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK), Radio Pakistan reported.

The two were killed during a ‘cordon and search’ operation in the Awneera area of the district.

The operation was reportedly carried out by the Indian Army’s 1 Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Special Operation Group.

Occupying forces also suspended internet services in the district.

Two youth martyred by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir

On June 7, Indian troops martyred at least four Kashmiri youth in the Pulwama district of the occupied valley.

On February 14, a deadly suicide attack in IoK’s Pulwama district killed at least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers. The suicide bombing took place when a car rammed a bus carrying troops belonging to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
