Woman, minor electrocuted to death

The victims were allegedly inside a water park when the incident took place

LAHORE: A minor and a woman were electrocuted to death while another was injured at a local water park near Saggian Bridge on Monday. The incident took place at Waterland Park. The deceased were identified as 32-year-old Uzma and 11-year-old Zahra while the injured was identified as 35-year-old Tayyaba Tariq. The deceased have been shifted to the morgue while Tayyab has been taken to a hospital for medical treatment. The victims were allegedly inside the water park when the incident took place. Sources said that electrocution had been determined as the cause of death. Reportedly, the victims were near a fountain in the middle of a pool when the incident took place.
