RAWALPINDI: The last day of the long weekend after the Eidul Fitr holidays saw residents of the twin cities thronging different parks.

A large number of families and children were seen spending time in the Nawaz Sharif Park, Roomi Park, Play Land, Children’s Park of Satellite Town, Wild Life Park of Lohi Bher, Jinnah Park and Ayub National Park.

Even the scorching heat could not prevent children and families from utilising the last day of their holidays to have fun.

Spots like Shakarparian, Daman-e-Koh, Margalla Hills National Park and other big and small parks in different sectors of the twin cities continued to receive visitors throughout the day. Children were seen engrossed in enjoying their rides while elders enjoyed their afternoon by picnicking under the shade of trees.
