Police conduct search operation in Islamabad

Police interviews 250 people and check number of under construction houses and buildings

ISLAMABAD: Police detained four people after questioning 250 during a search operation in various areas of Secretariat police station was carried out on Saturday.

According to police spokesman, SDPO, SHO of Secretariat police station, personnel of Counter Terrorism Force, police commandos, women commandos, staff of Bomb Disposal Squad and personnel of other law enforcement agencies took part in the operation.

They interviewed 250 people and checked number of under construction houses and buildings. DIG (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed has said the purpose of this search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city.
