Certificate distribution: IGP awards policemen for performance

KARACHI: Sindh IGP Wajid Ali Durrani distributed certificates and prizes on Monday to officers who killed a robber and arrested other suspects during encounters. Durrani distributed Rs2,000 and a certificate to each police officer. Two robbers were caught red-handed near Boat Basin on Saturday June 25. The police killed an alleged robber, Momin Khan, and arrested his injured accomplice. Separately, the Aziz Bhatti police arrested a robber after an encounter while they were looting a motorcyclist near Hassan Square.
