Rain in the country likely during next 24 hours

There is a slight chance that Karachi and Hyderabad may also receive rain

ISLAMABAD: Most parts of the country are expected to experience thunderstorms along with high speed winds and rain in the next 24-36 hours.

Various areas of Balochistan, including Gwadar, Pishin, Khuzdar, Mustung and Quetta have already been lashed with rains and there are chances of hailstorms.

Sindh too may experience rainfall, particularly in the upper, western regions, including but not limited to Larkana, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Dadu, Dera Ismail Khan. There is a slight chance that Karachi and Hyderabad may also receive rain.

Heavy downpours hit major parts of province

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will also receive a fair share of winds and rain, in both North and South Waziristan, Tank, Peshawar and even the Malakand division.

Punjab will also experience high speed winds and rain, particularly in the areas of Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan and Toba Tek Singh to name a few.

Parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are also predicted to receive rain during this period.
