Exchange programme: Delegation leaves for Bangladesh

The trip has been organised by the Higher Education Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

KARACHI: A 19-member delegation of students of different universities of the country left for a two-week study tour of Bangladesh as part of an exchange programme signed between the two countries. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr Syed Jaffar Ahmed, the University of Karachi’s Pakistan Study Centre director, and will visit universities in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi and Jahangir Nagar. The trip has been organised by the Higher Education Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation would look into the possibilities and opportunities of building links among the students and faculty of the two countries at the institutional level, according to a statement issued on Sunday.
