In this regard, an MoU signing ceremony was organized at the vice chancellor’s office on Wednesday. PU VC Prof Niaz Ahmad, Gulab Devi Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr Hamid Hassan and others were present at the occasion.
Under the MoU both institutions will work together on improving the quality of the academic programme, curriculum, examinations and research in the field of health sciences. After completing the study, students will intern at the hospital while both institutions will exchange faculty members, research scholars, students and information.
Speaking at the meeting, the vice chancellor said that the administration was taking steps to provide state-of-the-art facilities to the students and there was a need to enhance collaboration in medical sciences between the two institutions.
