Officials urged to complete schemes in Multan

Says there will be no compromise on the quality of materials

MULTAN: Multan Commissioner Imran Sikandar Baloch has directed officers and departments to complete all ongoing development schemes at the earliest.

Presiding over a monthly meeting on Monday, he said that development schemes had been launched to provide relief to the public. He said that progress reports of all ongoing development schemes should be submitted to his office every week while monthly review meetings will also be ensured to monitor the speed.

He said that there would be no compromise on the quality of materials. Development Director Muhammad Waqas Khan Khakwani informed the commissioner that Rs4537 million had been released for 645 ongoing development schemes.

He said that 75% of the funds had been spent on the schemes and proper monitoring of the development projects was being ensured.
