Balochistan governor urges equal business openings for women

So that the nation can steer itself out of the current economic crisis

QUETTA: Stressing the need to provide a level playing field to women, Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai has stressed that half of the population in the country should be provided equal business opportunities so that the nation can steer itself out of the current economic crisis.

The governor shared these views while meeting Balochistan Women Business Forum Chairman Faiza Mengal.

“There is a dire need for an effective policy to provide equal business opportunities to the women in Balochistan so that their expertise can be utilized to the fullest,” the governor remarked.

He announced full support for the suppressed women in the province and termed the role of women in the socio-economic development of the country mandatory.

The governor also discussed the provision of legal assistance and shelter homes for women in Balochistan.
