Pakistani street food delights diplomats at UN

World's envoys, UN officials throng food stall which was adorned by Truck Art

Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi organised a 'food street event' at the UN to demonstrate the country's cuisine to the world.

Envoys from many countries, including UN officials and diplomats, thronged the Pakistan food stall which was adorned by Truck Art to reflect the theme of Pakistani street food.

Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan, Oman and Portugal also attended the Pakistan food street event.

The 'street cuisine' offered at the largely-attended event included samosas, namak paras and bun kebabs, which were billed as desi sliders.
