Obstetrics And Gynaecology: Training for doctors and midwives

KARACHI: The National Council for Maternal and Neonatal Health (NCMNH) is holding a three-day refresher course in Emergency Obstetrics and Neonatal Care (EmONC) which starts on the July 1 at the Jinnah hospital auditorium complex. This is a biannual course meant to provide theoretical and practical training for doctors and midwives. Dr Samrina Hashmi, NCMNH office bearer, said that the interactive course will use videos and models. Each participant will be given the NCMNH EmONC manuals and pocketbooks, along with certificates of attendance to those participants who attend all three days.
