Cricket:Taylor appointed Zimbabwe captain
His first duty as captain will be to lead the team against Australia A and South Africa A.
HARARE:
Brendan Taylor has been named Zimbabwe’s new captain ahead of the team’s return to Tests, taking over from all-rounder Elton Chigumbura. His first duty as captain will be to lead the team against Australia A and South Africa A sides at home, with their first game against Australia A at Harare Sports Club on June 29. Taylor has enjoyed a rich vein of form in recent years and is one of a handful of current players with Test experience.
