Murder: Man killed by classmates

The accused wanted to settle a score for having relations with a woman of their family.

KHANPUR: A young man was allegedly tortured to death by his classmates late on Thursday night. According to police officials, Basti Imam Chowk resident Imam Fahim was given poisonous alcohol and tortured by his classmates on Friday. The accused left the victim on the road with his nose and ears chopped off. Residents shifted Fahim to Sheikh Zayed Hospital but he failed to survive. Abdur Razzaq, the father of the victim, lodged a complaint with the local police. He told the police that the accused wanted to settle a score with his son for having relations with a woman of their family. Police officials are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
