MANCHESTER: Who's saying what after Tottenham reached the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday with an away goals victory over Manchester City:

"It was unbelievable. My players are heroes."

-- Pochettino on a VAR decision which ruled out what would have been a Raheem Sterling last-gasp winner for City.

"It is cruel but it is what it is and we have to accept it."

"I support VAR but maybe from one angle Fernando Llorente's goal is handball, maybe from the referee's angle it is not."



-- Guardiola on Tottenham's third goal which survived a VAR ruling despite suspicion of handball.

"I have never seen something like this. It was a very tough game, a very crazy game. It was madness."

-- Tottenham star Son Heung-min who scored twice in the 4-3 defeat at City but it was a result which allowed the Londoners to progress having win the first leg 1-0 last week.



"I think I must be one of the luckiest guys on the planet today. With the last one they scored, I thought it was over. Thank God the ref gave offside."

-- Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen who gave the ball away in the last moments which allowed Raheem Sterling to score what looked like a City winner. However, it was ruled out for offside.
