Game of Thrones fans fear that the show's star Sophie Turner might have given away a massive spoiler by posting an image of herself with her laying down with her eyes closed on set.

According to Mail Online, the image, which garnered over 1.7 million views reads: "In honour of the final season of Thrones premiering tonight .... Here’s a picture of me asleep on set."

The 23-year-old actress, plays the character Sansa Stark in the iconic drama.

Believing the picture implied something far more sinister, some fans took to Instagram to share their terrified thoughts.

Some fans predicted it could be a possible foreshadowing of what is to come for the eldest daughter of Eddard Stark.
