Offices re-opened and the usual traffic volume was observed on roads.
Rains after Cyclone Phet caused flooding in Orangi Town, Saddar, Mehmoodabad, Punjab Colony, Pak Colony, Golimar, Manzoor Colony, Rehri Goth and Kala Pul areas of Karachi. Water entered the houses and shops due to the sewerage system's inability to deal with much higher volumes of rain water.
The met office has predicted light drizzles in the next few hours but no more of heavy downpours.
