PESHAWAR:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government on Tuesday replaced Secretary Transport & Mass Transit, orders reportedly coming after department failed to meet the deadline for completion of Peshawar’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).

Flight Lieutenant (retd) Kamran Rehman Khan has been asked to report to the Establishment Department with immediate effect.

“The competent authority is pleased to transfer Flt Lt (Rtd) Kamran Rehman Khan (PAS BS-20) Secretary Transport and Mass Transit department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and direct him to report to Establishment Department, in public interest, with immediate effect,” read a notification issued from office of the K-P chief secretary.



According to the notification, Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Dr Muhammad Fakhr-e-Alam (PAS BS-21) has been asked to hold additional charge of transport and mass transit portfolio until further orders.
