RAWALPINDI: Picking on the viral social welfare effort, the Rawalpindi Development Authority is working on allotting space to set up a ‘wall of kindness’ outside the authority’s building.

This was disclosed by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Arif Abbasi on Monday.

The ‘wall of kindness’ concept, which went viral a few years ago on social media and was then adopted by people and organisations across the world sees people donate their old or even new clothes or other items of use which are then put up on a wall. Anyone, who has a need for such clothing or items can take it from the wall for use without any charge or fine.

Abbasi added that apart from clothes, they also intend to place books, notebooks, uniforms and other educational items at the wall for poor students.
