Arrests: Six kidnappers nabbed, five robbers caught

Six kidnappers arrested on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the abduction of Tariq Naeem Shaikh.

The police nabbed six kidnappers on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the abduction of Tariq Naeem Shaikh. His father, Muhammad Naeem Shaikh, a resident of Kotri tehsil in Jamshoro, lodged a case at Cantt police station about his missing son on June 6.


Tariq was released after his father paid a ransom of Rs1.2 million on June 18 but the police caught the suspects on June 20. The suspects were identified as Rizwan Arain, Naveed Paracha, Asadullah Rind, Yameen Rind, Rashid Rajput and Amir Ali Shah. Tariq runs a computer accessories shop in Tayyab Complex, Hyderabad.

Separately, the police arrested a group of criminals on Tuesday after they were caught on tape while looting a petrol pump manager’s room in Garhi Khata.
