Mahira Khan, Bilal Ashraf reveal details of upcoming film 'Superstar'

Actors took to Twitter to share pictures and information

Local star Mahira Khan recently announced her upcoming film titled Superstar, reported Masala. The actor, who won at Masala! Awards 2017, appeared in Saat Din Mohabbat In last year opposite Sheheryar Munawar. This time, she will be featured on the silver screen with actor Bilal Ashraf.

The Ho Mann Jahaan actor revealed the names of the two lead characters played by herself and Bilal as Noori and Sameer respectively.

The picture shows Mahira grinning from ear to ear, holding a director's clipboard with the title of the film and details of the shoot on it. She is clad in an electric blue shalwar kameez alongside Bilal, who is trying his best to pout. The Rangreza star shared a similar picture of the two actors on his Twitter handle.

Superstar is to be directed by actor-director Mohammad Ehteshamuddin. He is known for shows such as Udaari which featured Farhan Saeed, Urwa Hocane, Ahsan Khan, and Aangan, starring Ahsan, Sajal Aly, Ahad Raza Mir and Mawra Hocane.

Mahira will also be seen in a short role in Sheheryar's forthcoming film in Parey Hut Love. The film will see Maya Ali in the lead.
