The PTI leader has been arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for allegedly owning offshore companies and assets disproportionate to his declared income.
During the last hearing, Accountability Court Judge Syed Najamul Hasan Bukhari after rejecting NAB’s request for extension of Aleem’s physical remand had sent the PTI leader to jail on judicial remand.

The accountability court had also directed NAB officials to expedite filing of a reference.
After his arrest, the former senior minister remained in NAB’s custody for 28 days and underwent investigation for offshore companies and possession of assets beyond known means of income.
According to police sources, strict security measures will be put in place during Monday’s hearing and all roads leading to the court will be blocked with containers and barbed wires, while traffic will be diverted to alternative routes. In addition to police, anti-riot force and women police officers will also be deployed outside the judicial complex.
