SHABQADAR: The tribal paramilitary Levies and Khasadar force men continued their protest against deployment of police in the newly merged tribal districts.
On Thursday morning hundreds of levies and Khasadar men gathered in Mohmand tribal district head quarter Ghallanai and marched in support of their demands. They were demanding the government to fulfill its promise to merge Levies and Khasadar men in K-P police.
They were carrying banners and pictures of martyred levies men chanting slogans, “Khasadar Levies ki qurbani ko tasleem karo” acknowledge the sacrifices of Khasad and Levies in (war on terror in erstwhile Fata). They marched from sports stadium to Ghallanai press club. The gathering was addressed by ANP leader Nisar Khan Mohmand.
