LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said the address of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan reflects the sentiments of the whole nation which wants peace.

He highlighted that the PM had proved himself to be an advocate of peace by offering dialogue over the Pulwama attack, once again. In a statement, the chief minister said the prime minister’s address to the nation was positive, balanced and logical.

He said that Pakistan was a peace-loving country and the prime minister’s address to the nation shows that he has given another opportunity of peace to India. He said war was not a suitable choice for both countries and India should realize these facts. “Prime Minister Imran khan has again proven that he is capable of leading the nation,” the CM added.

Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain, while replying to various questions from the media, said that those drawing comparisons between the armies of Pakistan and India are trying to defeat the morale of the nation. “They should know that wars are fought by nations and not by armies.”

He said the Indian Army was much larger than Pakistan Army, but the spirit and desire to sacrifice for the nation and the army is above all. “India is divided into many nations while we are united with the nation and the army. Our ideology is solely Pakistan.”

Responding to a question, he said attempts had already been made to contact the US and UN. He also urged Russia and China to play their role in solving the matter so that further destruction is avoided. “Wars are not the solution to problems.
